Thanks to the Kingswood College school community
The amazing Interact Club at Kingswood college held a donation drive to support the clients of Kara Family Violence Service.
Interact was formed by Rotary in the USA in 1962 and today there are more than 300,000 interactors around the world. Interact is a service club for young people ages 12-18 years who are passionate about making a difference while learning about the world and themselves. Interact also assists young people to develop leadership skills and their members are encouraged by their sponsored rotary club to run projects during the year which help people in their local school and community.
Students from the Kingswood College Interact Club selected Kara FVS as their community project and ran a donation drive through the school community. The results were amazing with over 15 tubs and assorted bags of clothing, books toiletries, toys and much more. We’d like to thank Ray and John from the Rotary Club of Box Hill Burwood who sponsor the Interact Club at Kingswood college and provide support and guidance.
“All our Rotary members are so proud of the excellent efforts by our Kingswood College Interact students and their dedicated coordinator Katrina for supporting the clients at Kara Family Violence Service.”
Ray McLeod-Dryden Director International and Club Projects ROTARY CLUB OF BOX HILL BURWOOD
Thank you to the students and school community for the thought and time they put into choosing the items that are needed by our clients – we appreciate your kindness.
